The “Baku Steel Company” CJSC (hereafter referred to as BSC) is the first modern and the largest steel production enterprise established in the Caucasus region. At present, the plant has an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons. BSC has earned the esteemed status of a permanent member within the World Steel Association, a prestigious international organization of leading metallurgical experts worldwide. The enterprise holds the unique distinction of being the sole Azerbaijani company in the South Caucasus region to hold membership within this organization. The "Baku Steel Company" CJSC is one of the largest taxpayers and exporters of the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan.

BSC utilizes cutting-edge steel melting and continuous steel casting technology to manufacture square and round bars, construction rebars , for the oil and gas sector, as well as for general purpose seamless pipes, ferro-silicon, various types of channels, angles, I-beams , wire rods (steel wire) and shaped castings. In terms of export geography, European countries, the Middle East and America are primary markets for BSC. Presently, BSC’s products are exported to over 20 countries across Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia.
